Isa in year 11 took part in the ICO Kickboxing last month and achieved 5 Gold medals. Isa has been selected to take part in the ICO Worlds which will take place in Wales in October 2025. Congratulations Isa on your incredible achievements, we are extremely proud of you 🥋

Congratulations to Finlay in Year 10 who has been offered a place at Birmingham City Football Academy as a striker. We are extremely proud of Finlay and the hard work and dedication he has shown to go that step closer towards achieving his dream.

Today we celebrated our Year 10 students who completed their Duke of Edinburgh. They each showed so much resilience and commitment to getting each aspect completed, and went above and beyond. We could not be prouder of them. Congratulations to you all 🤩

Lode Heath library is hosting a summer book fair in the library from Monday 30th - Thursday 3rd June. There will be plenty of books to buy and any who purchases a book will get a free glass of lemonade... so come along and kick start your summer of reading!

We are excited about the prospect of collaboration between our students and the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, along with other esteemed establishments and professionals in the Performing Arts industry throughout the upcoming academic year. Very exciting times lie ahead!

Last week, it was truly an honour to attend the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Open Day with some of our Y9 Performing Arts students. We had the privilege of witnessing the Opera dress rehearsal of Dido and Aenaes, a captivating experience that our students thoroughly enjoyed

Geography Field Trip - Yr 10 geographers had a successful trip to Rhyl in North Wales last week. Students completed a number of fieldwork activities and they will now complete follow up work including data presentation, analysis and drawing conclusions to their enquiry questions.

Bronze DofE practice walk is well underway… all 5 groups of year 9s are absolutely smashing it. Ms Hopwood and Miss Sherlock are very proud DofE leaders!

The Go Lead girls football activators were referees and coaches for a primary school tournament. We welcomed a number of school teams from across the borough. The girls were a credit to the school and ensured that the event ran smoothly. Well done & thank you for your hard work.

Congratulations to Taylor in year 10 who was selected for the England Under 15 Girls Ice Hockey Team and got to travel to Lithuania to compete in the Sostinė Girls Cup. Amazing achievement Taylor, we are very proud of you 🏒🏆

We also wish our Yr11s a happy half term of rest, revision and preparation for the remaining GCSE exams. We are aware there was some litter left at the Land Rover Social club, we're sorry for this. We have just tidied up the fields and completed a litter pick. Happy Holidays..
