@lofibanshee Yeah. Sure, not many people unlocked it, but allowing those people a permanent advantage (however many catalysts they've farmed so far) would be silly. I do think it should be fixed for S2, but in the end it's kinda whatever with how free tier already is...

They really should not fix this until next season if at all. Kinda impactful race wise, imo.

Mini EllesmereUI Update: I need to take a slightly slower approach with EUI. This has been an incredibly unhealthy 20+ hr a week 2 month long coding spree and my mental and physical health have taken significant tolls. I need to not rush things, so I will be delaying Basics until this weekend so I can have time to properly bug fix and get EUI smooth and perfect without just trying to rush into the next thing and do 500 things at once. I will have party/raid frames up by next week but i'm not going to rush things anymore, this has been way too unhealthy for me i live in completely consuming anxiety 24/7 and i need to just try and be slightly more healthy about this project

@lofibanshee I don’t really understand it either. I’m not trying to complain, since I’m also one of the 4,000 players with a kill, mainly because I was lucky to have the late shift this week. But wasn’t it originally said that the first 10,000 players were planned?

People keep talking about the solutions to this and how it favors those that have the time on their hands as if that’s not true for any other achievement like this. My qualms are more that someone that’s ilvl 237 shouldn’t have been able to do this. There’s only been 4 nemesis bosses but this was the easiest of them all by far. There were no puzzles to solve really. Valeera covered kicks or dispel depending on role, you just had to cover the other and the dispel really didn’t matter. I still support the notion that it should run until the next daily reset, but these types of achievements ALWAYS will favor those that have access to the game around the clock.

Ironically, I don’t think I would’ve attempted it at all if I hadn’t seen Sense’s post about it and seen how quickly it was filling up. I’m not entirely committed to any stance on how long it should stay up, I just think the difficulty was a bigger contributor than the limited time factor like most everyone keeps referencing, was more of the point of my post.

@lofibanshee Making it reasonably harder would also justify the full week, else it will always present a much greater advantage to the no-lifers. There's quite simply too much shit to do on a fresh seasonal reset, alongside personal obligations, for it to be a reasonable expectation.

Yeah that’s why I say I support the next daily lockout. I’d rather have it in the game though as is than see it removed like Realm Firsts because people complained it’s unfair. I don’t support a full week though that’s a bit too much. I also think making it more difficult solves a bulk of the problem. I don’t think any of the TWW nemesis bosses would’ve had 4K in the first 14 hours.

@lofibanshee Certainly they will, whether those players are getting an advantage in gear farming or just raw attempts, but you can’t reasonably solve that without a HM Lich King style attempt limitation (which just encourages practice alts instead). You can mitigate it though.

Also for those that might not be aware, there is no tank mechanic if you or Valeera are not a tank.

@xepher1s @VeryWorriedDuri Yeah the discrepancy between healer specs was entertaining to discover. Fade and BoP/Bubble made it infinitely easier for Priest/Pally than others.

If you want tier from LFR as Devourer make sure your loot spec is set to Havoc or Vengeance, the bug from beta that has you roll "off-spec" on tier as Devourer is still in.
