@WatcherGuru rough year when $BTC being down 30% is the best number on the list

bitmex shutting down after 11 years feels like one of those crypto moments people will understand better later.
this was the place that taught half of CT what 100x leverage, funding and liquidation actually felt like.
and now it’s leaving almost quietly.
that’s what i keep noticing this cycle:
relevance doesn’t always die with a crash.
sometimes the traders just move somewhere else, liquidity follows them, and one day you realize the old room is empty.
the interesting question isn’t what replaces BitMEX.
it’s where the next generation of traders already moved before everyone noticed.
English

$BTC is still the biggest asset in the room.
but right now, it’s not the most interesting one.
bitcoin ETF volume just had its quietest full week since october 2024, while $ETH funds pulled in more than 3x the net inflows.
i’m not calling a flippening.
i’m saying something simpler:
when bitcoin gets boring, capital starts wandering.
and wherever that money starts hanging around long enough, CT usually finds a new story to obsess over.
so what happens first?
BTC wakes up - or ETH steals another week?
English

$BTC on the daily is doing something i don’t love.
price keeps building liquidity underneath, but barely comes back to work through the lower pools. that makes the current move look pretty inefficient to me.
the level i’m watching is still around $67k.
the real question is whether BTC actually reaches that zone soon, or rolls over before giving that liquidity sweep
if we do trade into $67k, take the liquidity and fail to hold above it, i think the odds shift heavily toward another leg lower
for now i’m not trying to predict the exact path. i’m watching how price behaves once it gets closer to that liquidity

@ah_habib4534 @SaabOnChain bro that’s the whole bet. make people care again first

I scroll past a lot of dog coins.
Most of them need a backstory written after launch.
solana:1UQECVt1gsVohirXZoGkkYyHzDdaRAf8end9LsQpump didn’t.
She disappeared after the Fourth of July, survived nearly two weeks alone, and was eventually found half a mile into San Francisco Bay - still swimming while seagulls circled above her.
She made it home.
That’s why “The Immortal Pup” doesn’t feel like branding. Prieta earned that name before the ticker even existed.
The community around her is only beginning to form, but it already has something most launches spend weeks trying to manufacture:
a story people will remember.
Some memes are created.
This one survived.

the fish found a frozen signal at the edge of the meme universe.
@aminacov sent @ledgerealms to thaw it out.
one astronaut. one bowl. zero tolerance for frozen FUD.
$LR episode 3 just got colder.

@SaabOnChain @itstimeclub most teams try to create this feeling after launch
here it’s already there
English

The hardest thing in crypto isn’t launching something.
It’s getting people to care before there’s a chart, a price, or an easy reason to pay attention.
That’s what makes @itstimeclub interesting to me.
They’re building the room first.
The conversations.
The people.
The feeling that something is already forming before the market gets involved.
Most projects ask for belief after the launch.
This one is earning it early.

English

@loganrotates @itstimeclub the fish just wants a seat before the room gets crowded
English

not another ticker chasing attention.
not another room waiting for the next pump.
@itstimeclub feels more interesting for one simple reason - people are actually building the room before trying to fill it.
ideas first.
people first.
culture first.
the market can decide the rest later.

English

@loganrotates @itstimeclub bro, this team is solid. we’re just getting started
English

Most crypto accounts try to build attention.
Very few try to build culture.
Been following @itstimeclub lately, and that’s the difference I keep noticing.
Less noise.
More conversations.
More people actually thinking instead of chasing the next trend.
That’s worth watching.
English

@itstimeclub when people still show up even when there’s nothing to promote
that’s when it starts feeling real
English

Really appreciate you noticing that.
Attention can be bought for a moment, but culture only appears when people feel comfortable enough to think, speak and contribute.
We’re still at the very beginning, so we’re not trying to pretend that the whole story has already been written. We’re building the space first — the conversations, the atmosphere and the people around it.
The next question is the most interesting one:
What makes you stay inside a community after the initial hype is gone?
English

@SaabOnChain that’s the difference.
the story was already real before anyone gave it a ticker
English

@loganrotates Exactly. The ticker came after the story - not the other way around.
English

@adriannoted the chart caught my eye, but the people are why i stayed
English

everyone in #Crypto is talking about tokenized stocks, RWAs and where the next wave of users will come from.
but almost nobody is asking a simpler question:
which projects are actually building something people will still use 12 months from now?
that’s why i’ve been paying more attention to @ledgerrealms and $LR.
not because of the chart.
because they keep shipping.
livestreams, updates and real progress you can follow instead of vague promises. that matters a lot more in #GameFi than another polished roadmap.
#Web3 doesn’t need more tokens with nothing behind them.
it needs more teams willing to build in public while everyone else is chasing the next trend.
curious — what project outside the top 100 do you genuinely think can surprise people over the next year?
