@flaquaticfan I put the same 6/10 rating for it Don’t get me wrong it’s very atmospheric and at times makes you feel haunted, but there’s just too many lingering shots of “is something there?” And I really hated the ending. Stills fun movie experience though

My review of “Undertone” Rating: 6.8/10 Was this movie the scariest thing I’ve ever heard? Sure, since almost the whole movie is white noise and the type of sound you hear when they tell you to put on head phones and it sounds like there’s knocking right beside you. The movie revolves around a “creepy” podcast hosted by the protagonist and another person we never see, only here. There’s a mother too but she’s basically in a coma the whole movie. The one we don’t see receives an audio file of 10 recordings for them to listen to. While listening to the 10 part audio files, eerie things begin to be heard by the protagonist. While it’s effective when done, I do feel disappointed there wasn’t more to it when it came to the effectiveness and use of the sounds. I think they dropped the ball there a bit. I enjoyed how much of the movie was still scenes with minimal movement. It really added to the creepy factor and also forced you to look around to see if you’re missing anything. The last 15 minutes or so are extremely well done and creepy, to the point I was expecting a jump scene the whole time and may or may not have covered my eyes at times. The first 90+ minutes are a slow burn with really only one (VERY) creepy scene with the mom that gave my whole body chill. The ending was abrupt and forgettable and really ruined the movie a bit Overall a creepy movie with most of the creepy happening in the end, and not too much creepy happening before that, but a movie I do recommend seeing nonetheless.

i've noticed there is so much hate for films that are about finding hope and joy. project hail mary, superman, and everything, everywhere, all at once all have this loud crowd of people who try to make you feel like you're an idiot for enjoying a film that makes you feel happy.

I found it fun but by no means is it a Spider-Man movie. The antagonist is an iron man villain, the central plot revolves around stark tech, the main character keeps getting compared to iron man and realizes he will never be iron man, then makes a spider suit using iron man technology(?)
