@DejiAdesogan I actually went to moniepoint's website, clicked the Join Us tab and most of the vacant roles listed there can be filled within a week if your condition of service is good.

“I used to feel Nigerians are really bright. We’ve had over 500 vacancies since 2024, and we’re still struggling to find Nigerians to fill those roles. They don’t meet global standards. I blame social media, yahoo and hook up culture..” — Tosin Eniolorunda, Moniepoint CEO

@eddyunlimited @TrendingEx The roles on the site include tax officers, snr mobile engineers, frontend engrs, snr data scientists, cloud engrs, internal control etc. He has to look internally at the condition of services which I think is the reason the roles are not acceptable to Nigerians that applied.

@TrendingEx It's insulting for someone to say that he cannot find 500 intelligent Nigerians to fill vacancies. The same Nigerians who are being employed by brands all over the world

🎙️ Danny Welbeck on his relationship with Michael Carrick: “Not every legend has to be inside the club. (laughs) I like to think I help in my own way. I scored against Liverpool, then again against Chelsea… and after the Chelsea game I messaged Carrick. I told him, ‘your Champions League spot looks a bit safer now… no need to thank me.’ (laughs) We still keep in touch, and I genuinely want to see him do well. United is a club that gave me everything, so of course there’s always that connection. Whenever I play against the big teams, I give everything… but those games mean a little bit more to me. Liverpool, Chelsea, City… I take it personally. You can’t blame me. Once you’ve been part of United, that feeling never really leaves you. So if I can help, even from the outside… I’ll do it.”

@Oyo_Matters Politics is sad to watch from afar. This man as minister for power has shown his only solutions to infrastructure challenges are stratification and increased charges. Yet the victims of cluelessness are gathered there in the name politics. This is beyond ignorance.

"President Tinubu gave me the green light to contest in Oyo and promised to facilitate a consensus. However, he has not endorsed a specific candidate yet. He said if a consensus fails, he will call for a direct primary. Make no mistake: I am the only true 'son of Asiwaju' in Oyo state." Adelabu Penkele to Oyo APC Members

@Mikeliberation @seunakinola_ Personal bad character is the only valid reason I think parents can have as an objection to a child's marriage. Stereotypes like this one are never true for everyone.

My senior brother came home one day with a tall babe from Abia. He gathered the family and introduced her as the woman he wanted to marry. My dad didn’t even let him finish before he got upset. He said it wasn’t happening—that all his children must marry from our state. Mum calmed him down, but she didn’t support it either. Later that night, after the girl had left, my dad called us together and started giving reasons why we shouldn’t marry from another state. My brother told him that he and the girl had been together for a long time, so he couldn’t just leave her like that. I told them to let him marry whoever he likes—after all, he’s the one who will live with her. The real reason I supported him was because I was also dating a girl from Abia at the time. Mum later agreed, but my dad still refused. With Mum’s support, my brother stood his ground and married her. Guess what? Today, that same lady is my dad’s favorite daughter-in-law.

“The Federal Ministry Of Education, The Federal Scholarship Board, And The National Assembly Committee On Education And Scholarship Told Nigerians That The BEA Scholarship Was Cancelled But They All Lied. Because Why Does The 2026 Federal Budget Still Contain: ₦5.6 Billion For Ongoing Scholars, ₦1.764 Billion For 300 Fresh Scholars? Mind You, Many Existing Students Are Still Stranded, Suffering And Complaining Of Unpaid Allowances, Hardship, Uncertainty, And Abandonment.”

@josephogidi @MasterBolaji Just saw the last part of your tweet. Kay, the difference is the data you are projecting is not relatable. Nigerians are not new to data. Why do you think nobody watches @NTANewsNow anymore, even you govt supporters can't relate to the whitewashing on that station. Not new to us.

In those economies, yesterday was always better. South Korea, Romania, Taiwan (used to be the biggest Asian economy), India yes getting better with their challenges of insecurities Terrorism. Just to let you know that the problems we face in Nigeria is not peculiar to us alone. The only difference is that we discredit visible data and statistics of our progresses and gains while projecting the negative sides. While the countries that are in your good books do the opposite.

Nigeria’s stock market growth under: Obasanjo: ₦5.12tr Yar’Adua: ₦6.03tr Jonathan: ₦11.42tr Buhari: ₦28.45tr Tinubu (Current): ₦145.3tr All past leaders did ₦50.02tr over 24 years, while BAT has done ₦145.3 trillion in just 3 years. That’s a massive difference.
