This has to be one of the best trophies I've seen for a UK homebrew event. If you are in the region and looking for a club, then @lonbrew is a great homebrew club with members regularly earning lots of accolades and happy to share their knowledge.

Every May we hold a club competition around brewing a beer to a single theme or style. The competition is named ‘The Haysenbrau Award’, in honour of our club founder, Ant Hayes, who passed in 2011. Unfortunately the trophy was lost in 2020.

We appealed for donations for a new trophy, and many people responded, so we decided to have something unique made that would be an honour to win and get your name added to. Today it arrived, and it’s beautiful! Thank you so much to everyone that contributed.
