Jaylen Brown is having a mental breakdown on stream right now

My big takeaway from this chart is life gets very lonely after 30 if you don’t get married and have kids. Work becomes this groups primary social outlet for decades. Worth thinking about if you believe friends alone can replace the long-term community that family provides.

Are people in their 20s not doing roommates anymore? The high rent complaints always seem to quote whole apartment rents in nice buildings. We had roommates and shitty apartments and it was fun, would recommend

I’ve been talking about this for a few years… I’ve hypothesized that the biggest trademark of the younger generation will be migration out of the United States… They just don’t simply see the benefit of staying in a system that they have an extremely small chance of making it in… Why waste their whole life being a tax base slave when they can go live somewhere far cheaper and in many cases, be safer and have a far better quality of life

@realEstateTrent Just imagine how much money you would save by not living in NYC. Seems like you could run your biz from anywhere and you have properties on the west coast. Check out Nashville or anywhere near there. You could save $100,000’s per year

Domestic air fare is not going to get cheaper in this country, and we’ve ignored rail investment as we thought that cheap flights would always be a thing. That’s not the case, and now we have no rail as a viable alternative.

nyc isn’t evil. its just the only city honest enough to admit everyone wants money, love, status, God, a better table, and to be chosen by someone with taste. other cities call that toxic because theyre uglier and dress worse
