My thoughts, for what they’re worth…probably very little 😅 TLDR: I’d give him until New Year but we need at least 6 points between now and then. ——————————————— I look at Sheff Utd, Leicester and Southampton (possibly even Ipswich) and their positions and can’t help but feel grateful that we are in the Prem and already have 10 points to our name plus we’ve beaten the other promoted teams… Is that the bare minimum and/or where we should be for our size/resource? Don’t get me wrong, it still feels like we’re not fighting as hard as Leeds or Sunderland. The supposed Big 6 collectively losing so many games at this stage definitely hasn’t helped us and already feels like a gap is stretching above us because of this. I don’t think it’s fan entitlement because Dyche proved it can be done (with arguably less) but I also think the other, more established teams have all seen sharp progress since our last Prem season and possess the backing and resources to continue to do so. Realistically, for me, the only frustrating results have been West Ham and Brentford. Against Palace, Villa and Forest we were uninspiring but only a goal away from what I’d consider to be a decent result, bearing in mind their recent and current success (all in Europe, for example) The feeling has been massively accentuated by Sunderland’s admirable over achievement to date and Leeds finding unlikely results against Chelsea and to a lesser extent, Bournemouth and Newcastle (importantly all at home). But also the teams outside of the expected Top 10, growing/advancing which we haven’t managed to do - Bournemouth, Palace, Brighton, Brentford. Getting rid of Parker won’t necessarily fix the problem and it’ll cost if he’s contracted to 2027 but it does feel like a change is needed if we’re going to turn it around. Where do people ‘honestly’ believe we should be in the table, all things considered? Wins against West Ham and Brentford would have us 16th assuming all other results happened - would we still be Parker in if that was the case? We have a great opportunity in the next 5 between now and the New Year to pick up points, home games particularly. I can appreciate people were saying this before we played Brentford and Palace…Brentford have won 5 of 7 at home losing only to City and Palace under Glasner are hard to beat having only lost 3 out of 14 this season. 6 points for me is the absolute minimum across those 5 games - A decision on manager at New Year makes sense, if that is not achieved. Are we likely to have much to spend in the winter window? Would it be wise to upturn a routine for the players when the games will be coming thick and fast over the Christmas period? In terms of comments by SP, he’s admitting he knows the results aren’t good enough. The comment about the squad not being good enough I think was spur-of-the-moment emotion but some of the same people complaining about the comments he’s made make far worse comments about players and their performances on a weekly basis 😅 Anyway, I’ll keep backing the club - we’ll still be here when the players, manager and ownership have moved on! #utc #twitterclarets

Let’s not forget he did also bite someone; the character reference isn’t looking great, similarly with Hannibal. The racism and spitting incidents are both very difficult to prove as they are one word against another, there is no clear evidence that Hannibal did spit in the same way there’s no clear evidence that we can lip read racism; but we will accept Hannibal’s ban as you have accepted Osmajić’s…I assume?
