In 2024 I turned 100k -> 7m on an account to show my AfterHour and Patreon followers that it was possible. After getting day trade banned on robinhood, i have decided to dissolved that account, pay my tax bill, and throw most of that money into long term position. In 2025, im doing it again on webull. Will start with a 180k this time on new account.

This will happen. As long as event contracts are seen by the court of the law as not gambling, all platforms will adopt this pattern when they see the revenues Polymarket, Kalshi, and hood are doing.

My biggest career mistake was not taking this job offer from $pltr because the stock was down. My employee stock units would have been worth 4 million alone. Instead I took a different tech job at a “better” company at the time and my rsu went underwater.

@longwashere My RSUs from AMZN worth prob $4M+ too now. But I always sold them as soon as I got them. Some coworkers were smarter and now living a good life.

Fidelity is terrible. I have multiple friends who constantly needed corrections in their 1099s every year. I have one friend who went from 10k -> 100k -> 3k and closed all his positions and account before the end of the year, and FIDELITY STILL SAID HE MADE 70k in profit that year. Their system is cooked.

@longwashere I do most of my trading on Fidelity. Not because I like it, but because the UI is so archaic that I limit my trades to only what is truly important,

@longwashere Doubling 10k account is fairly easy ive done it multiple times Doubling your 2m account us a whole different story

I have been saying this for years. Trying to double your 10k account is a lot harder than just changing jobs and getting a 10k raise.
