Sources: NBA to review Charlotte Hornets star LaMelo Ball for taking out ankle of Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo in 2nd Q, resulting in hard spill and back injury that cost him rest of crucial do-or-die play-in contest. Ruling expected before Hornets’ final play-in bout on Friday.
@TheOneee230@NilesCooper1@HeatvsHaters Kel'el Ware is 21 and Jovic is still just 22. There are plenty of rookies in this league that are older. Jaime Jaquez Jr. (24) struggled last year and is now having a breakout season. Additionally, bigs take longer to develop. Heat aren't in win now mode either.
It would be silly for fans to give up on Ware and Jovic so early. Both are talented.
Ware’s effort level needs to be 100% all of the time. Jovic needs to find his role. Both need to be consistent.
The NBA was alerted to the suspicious betting activity involving Rozier on night it happened and then cleared him in its own private investigation. Thus, NBA felt no obligation to tell the Heat and other teams to steer clear of trading for him, essentially. All very unfortunate.
@Noahpinion Saw them in Brooklyn. First time seeing them live. They sounded great.
Fun fact I recently learned, this song is about the story of Samson.
I was a reporter and anchor for ABC News. And as you may have heard … I'm not there anymore.
Now I'm on Substack, that amazing space, and I can't wait to get into the important work that we all have to do.
Watch silver. It likes rising stock markets. We may have a (relatively brief) opportunity here, as long as gold doesn't do a complete nosedive. I've posted a much more detailed analysis for website members.
Jaime Jaquez Jr. (stomach illness) out tonight for Heat. Also out are Jimmy Butler (suspension), Dru Smith (Achilles), Josh Richardson (heel) and Isaiah Stevens (G League).
