After multiple nighttime visits a Cahow has stayed over in the CahowCam2 burrow. It is not the female, (which has a damaged foot) and seems to be heavier and in better condition than the one seen prospecting earlier in the night. Watch the LiveStreams: nonsuchisland.com/live-cahow-cam

Right on schedule, the male returned to the CahowCam2 burrow in the early hours of January 14th and freshened up the nest. If all goes well, his mate is expected to join him in the next few nights and will promptly lay her egg. Watch the LiveStreams: nonsuchisland.com/live-cahow-cam

Jeremy installs the ID band, and a GLS tracking tag on "Atlas" our CahowCam1 chick which is a few days away from fledging. This will log its daily location over the next 32 months, to be retrieved, should all go well, on Nonsuch in 3 to 5 years. VIDEO: youtu.be/47q7APGG6QM
