Back home after an epic weekend in Liverpool with the missus seeing @Bunnymen @Will_Fuzz at @LiverpoolEmpire . The band were on fire - dark, snarling and an edge to the whole night. Great to see them in their hometown. Another thing ticked off the bucket list!

And we know from experience e.g Napster, that once the genie is out the bottle ….

Thread 🧵 1/3 I Just got access to @OpenAI DALL·E 2 Tech never fails to amaze me but this is beyond breathtaking. I initially found out about DALL·E 2 when looking into #Web3 and how it relates to what I do - music and all things encompassing. One thought keeps recurring.

@Tomkiehl @PaulMcCartney @bbclaurak The entirety of human artistic endeavours to date is initially used to train these models. What happens when the AI output itself starts to feed back into the the training ? Unless it’s controlled feedback , all musicians know it can create chaos!
