As a follow up, while it might not technically be dead the queue times went from 3-5 mins to longer than the games themselves all whilst losing -75 gaining +25 making it incredibly demotivating and time consuming to play The matchmaking system is also incredibly abusable intentionally and unintentionally when you can q with people at a far lower rank. I originally thought that they were solving this by always taking highest rank but its some sort of lobby average based of soloq I believe This alongside the lack of change and communication from riot and the disinterest from the top of the ladder either something needs to be done soon or ranked 5s is probably going to be scrapped pretty quickly
