Reminds me of those bubble shooter like games from the early days of internet. Feeling kind of done with advancing this Gosper curve sketch any further. #creativecoding #p5js

@theo_coding_art Really cool! I like the way you fused tiling with special elements. Adds a lively touch!

@sfbatchelor @verse_works @artforaofficial I suppose times are changing and I've got no clue how the creative process will manifest it self in, lets say, 10 years. Eager to see. Yet, I hope ppl wont get fried alive by some faulty neuralink chips, VR eye prostethics or whatnot. 😅

its not about the end result (like 3d printing) - with blender and python u need to go through a mouse, keyboard or touch screen. these interfaces are ultimately what im getting at. our current model of computation, and knowledge based work is sitting at a desk and not physically engaging during the act of creation. massive parts of my brain aren’t being activated which limits the kind of creative thoughts i can have.

☕🌞 computer drawing process. code-based. What if we weren't restricted by hardware when we interact with software. What if using a computer, doing information based work wasn't like going to a glorified typewriter. What if it was like sculpting, or painting, or building.

@sfbatchelor @verse_works @artforaofficial Ah! Misunderstood a bit. But isn't it already possible (to certain limit ofc). For instance, one can crank up Blender&Python to do some incredible stuff --> one can 3d print anything from crazy array of materials (even plants and tissue). *maybe im hallucanting 😅*

@loorency @verse_works @artforaofficial im more talking about the literal physical act of making, not necessarily the medium or the properties of it. more dreaming of physical, spatial computation. one where we can take advantage of our kinetic and touch based senses. thinking with our hands + computation excites me 🤍

@_nekropunk New to your art and just wanted to say that this looks quite incredible. I'm a sucker for these coral reef fluid structures.

@sfbatchelor @verse_works @artforaofficial Why set arbitrary limits by benchmarking against painting/sculpting? I'm no artist, yet I've caught my self doing these comparisons (code as brush, language as canvas, etc. 😄), perhaps it's time to recognize coding and painting as unique, each offering boundless possibilities.

@Tezumies For my eye - near. The contrast does the job for me. It's still detailed a lot and yet far out enough for me. Both look real good!

@loorency Keeping it adds more detail and variation. I like it that way. I feel it requires my attention for longer.

⚠️⚠️⚠️ Need help refining the current Gosper curve #p5js sketch. How do you see it - keep the stroke (👈) or ditch the stroke (👉)?
