Thank you Sarah; I know this effect is common around the world but whenever we expand and improve cycle facilities more people cycle. Will work on staff changing facilities and just started e-bike designated parking to avoid impeding patients.

Incredible King’s team that first eliminated desflurane, then turned off the first NO2 piped system in NHS, followed by entonox last month. We are choosing to reduce climate change gases because it’s right for patients, staff and the environment.

Fun morning in our newly refurbed ED childrens’ area. Check out the air conditioning and water fountain ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ as well as signage and loading bearing the new sinks. It opens tomorrow so lots more to do tonight. £1.25m well spent with help from @supportkings. Next up Adult ED!

After 5 years of trying was finally selected for the ⁦@KingsCollegeNHS⁩ finance 5 a side footy only to lose despite having 6 players. We welcomed back old stars and said a farewell to those those transfer requests have come through. There’s life in the old dog yet!

Yesterday I heard about @KingsCollegeNHS Outpatient parenteral antibiotic therapy pilot where patients are now treated with IV antibiotics at home. Today I bumped into the wonderful KCH Baxter team that have pulled it off saving 993 bed days. We celebrate as every bed day counts!

A year ago @KingsCollegeNHS decommissioned the first nitrous oxide manifold and now joined by 22 manifolds across fellow @Shelford Group trusts saving nearly 6k carbon tonnes equivalent. We constantly learn from and challenge each other to go further.
