Truly, the US must've completed their mission especially when they took Iran's top leaders out. Iran likely want to continue because they're pained and haven't been able to wrought any significant damage to the US or Israel like it has been done to them. It could be the only reason Iran wants to keep on with the war. But this could escalate things further if the US comes back to the war. Whatever the case is, may the best side win.
