Thank you @MarkAmodeiNV2 and to the constituents who requested it. This gift truly touched my heart. This flag represents the Godly men who prayed over our Constitution in 1776. I continue to fight to preserve those same Christian principles today. This gift will be cherished by my family for generations to come. God bless America🇺🇸

The @cceanv endorses someone who sends their children to private school. Didn’t interview the other candidate who sits on a CCSD Commission, with children attending CCSD schools, with real solutions to improve student outcomes. CCEA priorities are not improving education.

CCEA proudly endorses @HanadiD34 for Assembly District 34. As a lifelong advocate for public education, Hanadi worked to advance CCEA priorities and is committed to championing workforce and pre-kindergarten programs, which move our state and economy forward.

If we’re citing statistics, I believe we should be inclusive of all races. This and the topics you previously mentioned fall well under the category of protecting children. And if your intention is to point out how violence affects children, I don’t see why you felt the need to highlight a certain race, unless your goal is to smear that race.

This actually illustrates the point of my original post. When evidence about school violence is raised, the conversation often shifts to something else, daily shootings, discipline debates, or other political narratives. Protecting students requires honest conversations grounded in evidence and policy, not constant pivots.

When people say they want to “protect kids,” the conversation should start with facts. Research cited by the Rockefeller Institute of Government shows: • The most common locations for mass public shootings are workplaces (141) and schools (112). • Mass shooters are racially and ethnically diverse, though the largest share are white (55%), followed by Black (21.2%), Hispanic (9.3%), Asian (5.4%), and Other (5.3%). Yet in Nevada we constantly see political energy spent on culture-war fights about books, teachers, and LGBTQ students pushed by groups like Moms 4 Liberty and My Children’s Advocate . If we truly care about student safety, our policies and conversations should be grounded in evidence, not political distractions. Students deserve facts, solutions, and leadership focused on real safety issues. #ProtectStudents #SchoolSafety #CCSD #NevadaEducation

What an absolute pleasure to be in the presence of such innocence. This is definitely my “why”. The highlight of my work!✨

The @ccsd_trustees continue supporting Nevada Reading Week. Trustee Lorena Biassotti visited Keith C. and Karen W. Hayes Elementary School to read to students. She chose “Grumpy Monkey Spring Fever” and “Otto’s Tales: Let’s Meet a Police Officer” as the stories of the day. Trustee Biassotti also joined in on the “Cozy Day” theme alongside students and staff.

It was a windy day on campus! I love when the frat bros come to say hi! Why is it that the conservative men always have a certain "look"? Like they want to protect women and drive trucks? Lol. Meanwhile the lefties look like they don't believe in showers or homeownership.

“Do you believe the root cause of misbehavior is in the home?” Trustee @lorena4change asked during this recent meeting. @ClarkCountySch officials wanted no part of answering that question directly, even though it explains the racial disparity they obsess over.
Victor Joecks@VictorJoecks

The @ClarkCountySch's approach to school discipline under @jhoneebert is dangerous. Don't take my word for it. Just look at what happened when CCSD tried this approach under Jesus Jara. reviewjournal.com/opinion/opinio…

@lorena4change Trustee Biassotti’s response emphasizes electoral legitimacy and freedom of speech. Those principles are not in dispute. However, the student-led petition raises specific concerns about public statements, representation, and the safety and well-being of LGBTQ+ students in a district she helps govern. Those concerns were not substantively addressed. This is not a debate about whether a trustee has constitutional rights. Trustees absolutely retain those rights. The question being raised is about the intersection of public speech and governance responsibility, particularly when statements are made while identifiable as a sitting trustee. Elections confer authority. They do not eliminate accountability. When students cite: • Comparisons made between gender dysphoria and pedophilia • Statements questioning the legitimacy of transgender youth • Public support for policies they believe threaten their safety • The mental health and climate impact of that rhetoric The response cannot simply rest on “this is America” or “I was elected.” When students organize and invoke statutory removal mechanisms, the temperature has shifted. This is no longer an online disagreement. It reflects a move from commentary to community climate. Boards have a collective responsibility to steward public trust and ensure that every student feels represented, even when there are deep policy disagreements. That responsibility does not fall on one trustee alone. It falls on Board leadership as well. If concerns are raised about trustee conduct or its impact on district climate, there should be: • Clear governance standards • Clear processes for addressing concerns • Clear communication about how those standards are applied Silence or generalized rhetoric leaves a vacuum. And vacuums erode trust. Students are asking whether their board represents them. That question deserves more than a philosophical defense of free speech. It deserves governance clarity. Institutions are not weakened by accountability. They are weakened when accountability questions go unanswered. @CCSD_Trustees @ClarkCountySch @jhoneebert @iceoutvegas

Last week, I did something most politicians don't do. I asked thousands of people what issues THEY cared about most. Not what I think matters. What THEY think matters. Help me craft my platform on what matters most to YOU.

When you’re an elected trustee, your posts aren’t décor. They’re public communication. If something was inaccurate or misleading, deleting it avoids the record, it doesn’t correct it. Verification before amplifying. Clarification when wrong. That standard protects students. And the board. @CCSD_Trustees @ClarkCountySch

Deleting a post is not the same as correcting the record. Public officials have a responsibility to verify before amplifying, and to clarify when they get it wrong. That standard protects students, families, and the integrity of the board. The bigger issue isn’t the image. It’s whether trustees apply the same expectation of evidence and accountability to themselves that they demand from others. @CCSD_Trustees @lorena4change #GovernanceMatters #VerifyBeforeAmplify #PublicTrust #CCSD #StudentsFirst
