I hate living in Hawaii when I want to take part in pitching events. 😞 My time zone really impacts people looking at my pitches. By the time I'm out of work to pitch, the event is over on the East Coast. #amquerying #amwriting #poetry #kidlit #fiction

@loriswrites I was feeling sorry for you until I realized YOU LIVE IN HAWAII. Seriously, that makes it super tough for pitch events, I guess. Maybe plan ahead and take a day off work? that's basically what I had to do anyway...

@midsouth_flair I wasn't asking for pity. I was just making a comment about how people that are in certain time zones would have a harder time getting their pitches seen during events. Not everyone has the luxury of being able to take off work for them, which is unfortunate. 😞
