During the Fall, I get to see our @tamhn_aggies Familia every home game at our #aTodaMadre tailgate at #AggiePark and then time stands still until we see each other again… …I cherish our Spring gatherings; last night, we had an evening with @tamusystem Chancellor @Glenn_Hegar. I enjoyed hearing our outgoing president and amazing leader, Monica Cuellar Menzel, and our president-elect, Arnoldo Ruiz; better known as “Nono” - these two amazing humans truly inspire our organization to continue to embrace and reach our many Hispanic students who crave and deserve the opportunity to be part of the #Aggie Familia. I appreciated Glenn speaking to us and answering our questions and concerns as representatives of the ever growing Aggie Hispanic Network. I missed not getting to catch up with my #compadre Porter S. Garner III and will have to cash in a rain check soon. I did have the opportunity to speak with representatives of our San Antonio and Laredo chapters. As is the norm, I love and feel honored to meet some our next generation of Aggie Hispanic Leaders - this time I spoke with Gabriel Antonio Teuscher, VP of our Texas A&M LULAC chapter who is also President and co-founder of LAPO, A&M’s Latin American Politics Organization; I cannot wait to work with these student leaders. At the end of the night, I felt invigorated by our Hispanic Network Familia. More importantly, I am inspired and welcome the opportunity to help our new Chancellor Glenn Hegar to grow our System by helping outreach to our vast number of highly qualified Hispanic students across our state, country and throughout our world. #GigEm #LosAggies @TAMULULAC @tamu @AggieNetwork @los_aggies
