-Aw... No wonder why she likes it so much, I suppose... She closed her eyes again. However, when she talked about her kids, her face lightened up.

She opened her eyes a little, even though the light made her head hurt a little, to lock gazes with her ex. She never thought they'd ever be on good terms again. -I'll tell her... She'll be so happy, I know that...

-Well, yah... She talked to me 'bout the firelights from time to time... And how... She feels inspired by you. I suppose you're doin' a good deed... She snuggled on the blanket, her knees against her chest. -She knows we're... Y'know, exes.

Jinx really enjoyed teasing Ekko like when they were kids. It was refreshing. At least, it helped her bear the pain a little better. -Nope~ You're a man, Ekko, you're not so smart~-she giggled, very faintly.-Mh... Ish was my best bet. She admires ya.

-Then tell me, c'mon~ Isha couldn't have told ya, she doesn't know I'm sick... I made sure of that... Mh... Was it papa? Vik? Mh... I doubt Gert would do that... She seemed distracted by that little game, smiling with her eyes closed. At least, it made the pain a little easier.

Jinx rested her head on the sofa, so tired she couldn't keep her eyes open. However, she giggled a little, almost with no voice. -Liar...~

-Did ya use your powers to know that? Or did someone told ya? She really was trying to jokingly tease him, but she sounded so frail and tired.

Jinx curled up in the blanket. Her poor body couldn't get any warmth, but that wasn't what upsetted her the most, but the fact that she couldn't even predict when she would feel a flare up. -Why did ya come here anyway? Did someone told ya that I was sick?

-I know... Ya haven't changed a little. Jinx really tried to light up the mood, but she felt so weak her voice was almost nothing but a whisper.

-I hope so too... Don't worry... She put her feet up on the coach to hug her own knees. That posture helped her with dizziness.

It would be harder for her body to rise its temperature as her blood wasn't even real blood. However, the gesture was kind enough for her to just refrain from explaining that to him. -Thanks, Ekko...

Even with the blanket and the boy's body warmth, Jinx's skin was as cold as ice, and so pale it even seemed translucent, in a way. Almost all her veins were on display. -My circulation's shit...-she grunted, as she rubbed her hands together.

-'M be'er...-Jinx whispered, her eyes closed.-'M be'er... She could feel her heart pounding irregularly in her chest. It was annoying, and it set a few alarms on her phone, but at least, she wasn't in any pain whatsoever. -I need... A blanket, I think... 'M cold...

-I dunno... Last time I tried I passed out...-she told him. It was true, she had taken an anxiolytic when she felt one of her psychotic flare ups, but she ended up unconscious in her lover's arms. However, the pain died out little by little, allowing her to sit up.

Jinx didn't know how to answer. Of course she had pain medication around, she lived with a woman and two kids, but it wasn't for her. It wasn't safe. -Can't take 'em...-she replied, her body trembling.-My... my body's not... Like others...

Jinx finally sat down, with Ekko's help, and clutched her chest as she bent forward again. She did her best to breathe slowly, even though the pain was very strong. -It'll go away...-it was unclear if she was talking to him or to herself.-It'll go away in a moment...

Jinx allowed him to secure her so she didn't fall. It was oddly comforting to see him worry about her, for a change. -A'ight... 'M fine, really... However, a sharp wave of pain hit her in that moment, making her bend forward holding her breath.

Even if she wanted to pull away from the hug, she couldn't. Like Ekko had pointed out, she couldn't stand on her own. Her legs felt like jelly. -C'mon... Why did ya come if ya didn't want to stay...?-she joked, her voice weak.-Want somethin' to drink? A cig? A joint?

Jinx couldn't say if that hug was to greet him, to thank him for being there or just for supporting her weak body. However, being on good terms with her ex was comforting, in a way. -Aw, fuck ya...-she answered, chucking weakly.-I've been in bed like... Two... Three days? (+)

Now that Jinx had transformed into a human again, she barely left her bed. She didn't have energy for anything, unless her lover helped her. She barely ate, barely smoked, barely stayed awake. Shimmer went back to fill her veins, and that led her to a state of permanent (+)
