Waldron is my top OC choice.
And Waldron was top of my list of Offensive HC Candidates BEFORE we knew Flus was staying alongside Ben Johnson & Bobby Slowik.
He has more years as an OC (3) & worked for both McVay & Carroll. Put together a top 10 offense. Knows how to tailor an offense to his QB

The Chicago Bears are finalizing a deal this morning to hire Shane Waldron as their next offensive coordinator, per source. Waldron was the first name that surfaced two weeks ago when the Bears began interviewing OC candidates. He comes to Chicago after spending the last 3 seasons (2021-23) as Seattle's OC. I’m not surprised at all Bears fans are ready to reset everything already. Fans have been conditioned for the 3-year reset for decades now. They don’t know what it’s like to grind for anything and grow with a team. To be expected 🤝🏾

@RJChicagoSports I’m not defending Fields, just pointing out that CJ would not be as good on the Bears for reasons other than talent. The Bears problems are systemic and go well beyond getting the right QB.

@lostinstl72 Definitely Slowik helps and Tunsil but going into the season many thought they were THE worst team in football. It’s obvious how stroud has elevated the team, coaching or not. Stroud is a huge reason guys like Collins have been so good. Justin doesn’t throw it like CJ

@HashTagWhiteSox While I think the gamble on Williams is the right move, the problem is the coaching staff. And keeping Eberflus will perpetuate that mistake. Hopefully they are smart enough to fire this staff next year instead of talking about “continuity”.

I dont know how #Bears fans can watch CJ stroud do what he’s doing right now in his rookie year & be so afraid of greatness. I’m a fields fan, he’s fun, he makes big plays, but he’s going into his fourth year with no consistency. I’m swinging at QB again. Bring me Caleb Williams.
