@losttresu Low-key the most interesting way for me to see this is we would've got two-three scenes where Kronos is manipulating Luke then he doing the same tactics on Silena it would really show how in these series the Greek pantheon is just a cycle of abuse but alas.

@DavidMuozCoron2 yeah I agree but I've heard ppl say it was intentional especially with what he does to silena and yes that is weird and wrong but to me that's a combo of rr not being able to write a woman unless their a hunter or have a love interest but also a way to show Luke's manipulation+

the discourse on Luke again is tiring my take is that when he interacts with annabeth and is trying to get her to his side and stuff it is manipulation but I don't think he realises it is but with other people I think he does realise and is doing it on purpose like with silena

for annabeth to Luke because he sees her as his little sister I'm only talking abt show Luke here he feels like he has to protect her and he knows what's best for her but it's not a conscious thing with annabeth specifically imo

people are unable to talk about Luke with nuance I think like yes I do think Luke asking annabeth to run away with in the the case of book Luke could be seen as inappropriate but also he doesn't really have anyone to go to because he was manipulated and groomed too
