And the Lego - how could I forget the Lego all over the floor we somehow step on even when desperately trying not to step on it

A weekend with children 1.Finish work late at 5.30pm-home for beans on toast (boys) and Chinese leftovers (us-hiding) 2. Bike rides,soup,board games and watching rugby,homemade KFC,bath 3.Spellings,Friday challenge,rugby+garden,risotto,bath for muddy knees. What a busy few days!

There’s something wonderful about being in bed with a coffee and a book and hearing the boys chatter away playing Lego downstairs 🥰 I do love my weird little family

I love this film from England, 1901. We’re close enough that it’s not just a crowd of people. You can see all the individual personalities of the children showing off, jostling their friends and pulling faces to the camera. It’s worth watching twice.
