as an aroacespec person, at some point in my life i just had to accept that other queer people i know talk like homophobic c!shets about aroace ppl and thats how ive known peace and learned to not gaf

relationships aren't just attraction, relationships are built on communication and bonding and commitment and honesty. so yes you can care for someone without being attracted to them. romantic relationships also are not the only type of relationships

@tiredgirlxx I'd paint and sketch without worrying about competition, take walks to soak in the feeling of nature, quit my job, listen to my favorite music over and over, watch movies I've always wanted to watch, look at lots of art, visit museums, get into pottery. I think I'd smile a lot.

@ubelfem Also "aromantic" and "aroace" individuals who somehow have a boyfriend/girlfriend or a spouse. Either they're lying that they're not romantically attracted to anyone, or they want to have perks of a relationship while not returning feelings and not taking responsibility
