What you've said about google is also false, the stats are for the entire topic, not the search term.

Google trends is probably the most objective way to estimate how popular something is since most people use google and on other social media the algorithm just throws you into your comfy echochamber.

It’s like comparing an assault rifle to a pistol and then saying “but they’re both weapons so it’s the same”. And attack on titan is something I need to verify. Split cour is literally just the "I want our show to be less popular" decision. It's still crazy to me that companies do that

@XxJakez123xX @sabr_nahl I was saying that doesnt happen for every series. Some series do mantain hype for split cores and not only that there have been a few (with the right marketing inbetween the split) that have had increased viewership. And Rezero’s marketing this season has been great
