As a military officer, I was repeatedly trained on the law concerning illegal orders. Now, veterans citing this law have been targeted by the president with threats of prosecution and death - because they oppose him politically. If the government acts against them, it will further display President Trump's thirst for the one thing our Republic cannot abide: tyranny.
