It is with much regret due to the NIMBYs of Leonard Stanley village & the lack of local support youth football is postponed! @GRFootball @GlosFA @FA due a lack of parking facilities & no support from the village hall! So the 150 boys & girls have no football - sorry

I wonder how many youth games were off due to the weather? I wonder how many games were off due to the council and village hall (I say village, should just say hall) blaming kids football club for parents parking and not allowing150 kids to play football? Only @Stanley_Sharks

@SteveHyndside @Stanley_Sharks The kids club have tried but treated like convicts. Even tried to hire the hall every week, which isn't cheap. As long as a film club for 5 people takes place then bugger the kids.

Saturdays results The firsts lose 1-0 away to high flying @BarnwoodUtd. But put in a really good performance and were never out of the contest. The Thirds get a good 2-1 win away to Horsley 3rds. Great efforts and attitudes to everyone involved this weekend!

Sat 3rd Feb Firsts 3 @Mushet_Coalway 3 Reserves 3 @cotswoldrangers 6 And the thirds with a superb 3-0 win over Alkerton Rangers to end their 6 game unbeaten run.

A well earned 3-3 draw away to @Mushet_Coalway. Bare 11 no keeper but the lads never stopped. Massive thanks to Mushet for supplying a linesman to help us out. All the best for the rest of the season lads.
