🏥🚨Major Appointment to Tackle Waiting Lists: “The Health Service of 1948 is defunct now.” ✅️Health Minister @mikenesbittni has appointed Northern Ireland surgeon Professor Mark Taylor to lead efforts to address the waiting list crisis. 🎤Both Professor Taylor and Mr Nesbitt spoke to Chief Reporter @jamesgould23. 👥Professor Taylor will serve as Northern Ireland’s first Regional Clinical Director for Elective Care. Currently, more than half a million people are on waiting lists for an initial consultation with a specialist. Northern Ireland’s waiting lists have been described as the worst in the UK.
