Here is a crazy thought. Gerrymandering is bad, dehumanizes people, and creates self-serving and marginalizing systems regardless of which party you are in. Maps that are interested in equity for all people are likely to be best. People > Politics.

@DaquanFromArbys @BeaneaterB @PitcherList I can guarantee you with 100% certainty he doesn’t get rocked tonight. Will you donate 100 Arby’s sandwiches to your local homeless shelter if he doesn’t? If he does get rocked, I will donate 100 Arby’s sandwiches to my local homeless shelter. Deal?

Jannik Sinner is putting together one of the best dominant runs of all-time...and it's hardly being covered. He's the first player ever to... - Win 5 straight 1,000 events - Win the Sunshine Double without dropping a set - Win a 1,000 final in less than an hour - Win 32 straight matches (will be true if he makes the semis in Rome) If he wins in Rome, he'll join Djokovic as the only players ever to win all nine 1,000 events Lastly, Zverev is right. Sinner has completely separated himself from Alcaraz. He won their last 2 matches without dropping a set

@scottcoleman55 It's called "movement." I don't know why this is a difficult concept to understand for retarded stat nerds, but 93-mph with movement is much harder to hit than 98-mph in a straight line. It's like how keeping a level bat through the zone is better than launch angle bullshit.

I need someone smarter than me with pitching stuff to explain how Dylan Lee just absolutely cooks hitters with a 93 fastball, 84 slider and occasional changeup. He looks like he's barely trying out there and no one touches him

MJ never won a series without Pippen. Kobe never won a series without Shaq/Pau. LeBron has now won a series with each of the below listed players as his #2 option: Big Z Larry Hughes Boobie Gibson Mo Williams Delonte West Antawn Jamison Love (11 PPG...) Rui Hachimura

In MLB history, only one team has had the following numbers over the first 25 games of a season: +50 or better run differential 30+ home runs 200+ pitching strikeouts 0 blown saves That one team is the 2026 @Braves.

MLB Hall of Pretty Good

Look guys, I know Heyward is close to the bWAR threshold, but I’m not making an exception. Last July, after doing votes for about three months, I raised the original bWAR cutoff from 35.0 to 38.6, around Harold Baines territory, to accommodate a lot of requests. If I raise it any more, then this isn’t really going to honor the players I originally set out to recognize. Yes, occasionally we vote on guys who were stars in their prime, but if the threshold keeps creeping up, then players like Rickie Weeks or Scott Kazmir might not get in, and that’s exactly who this Hall is for. I’m not trying to honor players like Carlos Delgado or Kenny Lofton. I get that this creates a bit of a “purgatory,” but a Hall of Very Good feels redundant too. At that point, almost everyone gets in, because it’s hard to argue that players with over 40.0 bWAR who aren’t in Cooperstown weren’t very good. One of the biggest criticisms this Hall already gets is that too many players get in, and that would only make it worse. Sorry this is a bit long, but I wanted to explain my reasoning. This Hall is meant for a very specific type of player, and while the system isn’t perfect, it’s the one I came up with, so I’m sticking with it.

This is a good time to mention this: Is anyone else a little skeptical of Wilt’s 100-point game? They didn’t even have a film camera there in 1962?
