पिछले साल अगस्त में अच्छी खासी सैलरी वाली नौकरी छोड़नी पड़ी क्योंकि वो नाईट शिफ्ट वाली थी और हेल्थ issue हो जा रहा था।
अब 36 की उम्र में कुछ अपना करने का सोच रहा हूँ। 50,000 तक कि पूंजी में गाँव में कुछ हो सकता है क्या?

एक बात एकदम साफ बता दूं,
~पेट्रोल डीजल में एक्साइज ड्यूटी घटने से आम जनता को कोई फायदा नहीं हुआ है।
~अगर तेल कंपनियां रेट कम करती हैं तब फायदा होगा।
~अगर ये लॉजिक है कि, तेल कंपनिया रेट बढ़ाने वाली थीं, लेकिन एक्साइज ड्यूटी कम होने की वजह से नहीं बढ़ाएगी, इस वजह से आम जनता को फायदा होगा,
~तो भी ये लॉजिक गलत है।
~सरकार ने सरकारी खजाने से छूट दी है जो जनता का ही पैसा है, मतलब घुमा फिरा कर जनता का ही नुकसान है।
~जनता का फायदा तब होता जब पहले वाली एक्साइज ड्यूटी में ही तेल का रेट न बढ़ता।
~जब तेल सस्ता था तब जनता को भरपूर लूटा, अब मंहगा हो गया तो सरकार का खजाना खाली कर रहे हैं।
~गैस और इंडस्ट्रियल डीजल के दाम इसी वजह से बढ़े हैं कि तेल कंपनियों को राहत दी जा सके।

8 years ago, I was in India for a 3 week trip and encouraged my 20 year old cousin to start cycling.
We rode together every day, covering 20–50 km on the city roads and nearby villages. He loved it and continued even after I returned to the UK.
Couple of months later, a truck hit him on the very same road we used to ride together.
2 months in hospital. Multiple surgeries. He survived, but it changed everything. I still carry the regret of pushing him towards road cycling.
We often overlook the risks of road cycling and running, but the reality on our roads is brutal.
Your health matters, but your life matters more.
Choose safer options: parks, treadmills, indoor cycling. Go to a gym.

गैस की ‘कालाबाज़ारी’ कैसे ग़रीबों को पेट काटने पर मजबूर कर रही है!
हमारी सोसाइटी के पास एक रेहड़ी पर 30₹ में एक प्लेट पूरी सब्ज़ी मिलती थी। कई बार मैं भी पैक करा कर घर आता हूँ। प्लेट में 5 पूरियाँ होती थीं। आज एक कम मिली है। देते समय ही बता दिया था कि गैस सिलिंडर महँगी हो गई है इसलिए प्लेट में पूरी 4 कर दी है। मैंने कहा रेट बढ़ा देते। बोला हमारे कस्टमर अधिकतर मज़दूर/कामगार/कम सैलरी वाले नौकरीपेशा लोग हैं। रेट 30 से 40 करता तो कस्टमर कम हो जाते। इसलिए एक पूरी कम कर दी। कस्टमर एक पूरी कम खा रहे हैं पर रेट की शिकायत नहीं कर रहे हैं। और जो अधिक पैसा दे सकते हैं वे पाँचवी पूरी भी लेकर खा रहे हैं। वरना पानी अधिक पी कर काम चला रहे हैं।
सरकार कहती है LPG की क़िल्लत नहीं है। सही बात है। पर कालाबाज़ारी तो है! और उसका ख़ामियाज़ा ये कि ग़रीबों को अपना पेट काटना पड़ रहा है।
