This game isn’t GTA where the label will hear about it and ask for more money. It’s a hour game with lower sales expectations. They don’t expect you to come back and ask to renew the license so they just give it to you

I don’t think people understand how labels behave with licensing deals. If you ask a label for a perpetual license for their older catalog for a small project you can get it at a reasonable price

FWIW, posting my salary actually makes me pretty uncomfortable.
However, I know of at least 7 people who have been able to use the information to negotiate better pay for themselves (two thanked me this weekend!), and giving them that opportunity is worth some discomfort for me.
