Regarding gods, atheists don't believe a damn thing. Atheists merely REJECT belief, either implicitly or explicitly. The problem with theist understanding of atheism is that—like God—it simply doesn't seem to exist. Yes, believe what you want, theists—and some of us will mock it.

XP should be awarded for heroism and effectiveness. I think solving a puzzle is as valuable as killing a medusa.
I do think that gold for XP is bad because it leads to weird questions (if Fred dies and I loot his body do I get XP for his gold?) and also it removes a possible motivator for the GM - in other words, with gold being separate from XP, a GM can motivate players either with gold OR XP and have them be different.

@riotdrone @PotatoMcWhiskey Having standards for media is a good thing because by abiding by those standards you increase the amount of good media and decrease the amount of bad media. "Art" is just media. The people who say art shouldn't have standards say so because they think it isn't media when it is.
