🚨🎙️ Sandro: "I felt the love straight away, my first game. I think the supporters always helped me, in the tough moments as well, when I was injured.
Every single game, I think to be Tottenham, is special. For me, it was natural to feel the love, and I just tried to give 100% every single game and to try and understand the Club, to try and speak English in the beginning. It was hard. I tried to understand the culture as well, and I think the fans started to like me because I was very open and trying my best to help.
It’s a special feeling, I cannot say what it is, but it’s so special. My first week when I left the Club, I said ‘I did something wrong’, because the love was there. I was always watching Tottenham.
What I’m doing for Tottenham now, I represent. I speak with the fans. I come all the way from Portugal every single home game. I do it because I love it, I try to always have that connection, because it’s special.
It comes from my heart, and I will always feel that.”
