In extension, one must make it a point to make the kind of art they want to make. Don't write for the readers, editors, critics, teachers. Write a poem that you want to leave in your place. As your replacement. Write a story which will be remembered as yourself.

ये कैसी साज़िश है जो हवाओं में बह रही है मैं तेरी यादों की सारी शमएँ बुझा के ख़्वाबों में चल रहा हूँ तिरी मोहब्बत मुझे नदामत से देखती है वो आबगीना हूँ ख़्वाहिशों का कि धीरे धीरे पिघल रहा हूँ ये मेरी आँखों में कैसा सहरा उभर रहा है +1
