So I convinced a friend at my day job to be a Big Bad Con Ranger and fly to San Francisco with me. The moral of the story is if you can't find a roommate, make your own.

I am the problem in this scenario, I am the entitled Karen. But, as a game publisher, we can proactively turn Karens into happy customers by just showing behind the scenes. More than we want to. More than we feel like we need to. More than the people who gave us $20 deserve.
