@chrisperk He’s just hosting the events F1 and Tennis has their own people in place to run the operation.
English

Part of me doesn't wanna go overboard blaming Ross b/c no one is perfect. Ross is golden at business, F1 & tennis. He obviously knows how to run a business. But NFL is his blind spot for some reason. Fins fans would prefer F1 or tennis to be his blind spot
Fins Og@finsog305
@chrisperk Ross has paid the money which is the biggest factor an owner can do. Now has he hired the right people. No. Honestly Ross is a business man. He has made a ton of money with F1 and US open while the team struggles. He needs to hire a GM that will build the team.
English

@StanDaMan32 @chrisperk Don’t forget Tua said he doesn’t worry about the oline. He gets the ball out pretty quick
English

@chrisperk So this talent you speak of would’ve been who? Other Draft prospects? Other Free Agents? I’m not understanding. He’s the highest paid employee in the building, he said that himself. He stated it starts with him. I don’t want to hear about need more talent. Tua step up and LEAD!!!
English

@chrisperk So by not asking them the tough questions you’re doing us fans a disservice. The media is our voice and u just admitted to soft-balling the GM and HC to keep a positive relationship with them. This is exactly what’s wrong with the media. You guys are self serving.
English

AT THIS POINT there is nobody left to blame for where the franchise is other than Chris Grier. Who was put in charge of the whole franchise’s football side in 2019? Who selected 3 QBs (Fitzpatrick, Rosen and Tua), who traded away assets for draft picks then botched plenty of them
Lee Michael Morrison@Vigilfox
@OmarKelly Who's decisions led to this? CHRIS GRIER. Who hired Chris Grier? Steve Ross. As long as Ross owns the team, the Dolphins will continue to be in the toilet. But we'll have a pretty stadium and orange carpet.
English

@OmarKelly Well we know this ain’t the right franchise for Tua. Year 6 and he’s declining
English

Puts things in perspective.
Sometimes it’s not the QB that’s the issue, and the right franchise can bring out that greatness
Footballism@FootbaIIism
Whoever snapped this pic 🐐
English

@chrisperk A new GM hire should have the ability to bring in the Head coach of his liking and the HC should be able to bring in a QB he wants.
English

It's a definite blind spot. He's gotta get GM right. After that, things should fall into place. No guarantee they win SB, but they'll win. Getting GM right is the first order of business for almost every franchise (meaning the ones that don't have a good GM)
KeithB@phin_sox
@chrisperk Lmao @ Ross. What a hiring genius
English

@railedbyvante She’s on an extension ladder that high up. I guess osha don’t exist. Let’s not speak on the la k of PPE.
English

@OmarKelly We seen the Marlins buy a title
We seen the heat load up and win titles
We seen the panthers win a title.
Dolphins have yet to win a title in the past 52 years
English

@OmarKelly 80% of Miami sports fans have seen our teams will all except a Super Bowl. There is your answer
English

@chrisperk What don’t Tua need. He needs a quality RB he need Tyreek he needs a oline. He needs a GM he needs a special offense created around him. He needs all that to have a first round exit at best
English

Tua won't be as effective w/o Tyreek, who won't be here next yr due to salary cap number. Tua needs quality RB. I'm shocked they've drafted RBs last 3 yrs & still don't have an answer at that position. Well, on 2nd thought, I'm mildly shocked
Harry@Pitt123412Macey
@chrisperk I'd fire GM...keep Tua 1 more yr (eases cap hit and prob better than any rookie QB you draft initially).... Then build trenches...
English

@FinsXtra @MiamiDolphins Different HC. That’s not this team. Stop living in the past.
English

🎥 Jaelan Phillips on the Miami Dolphins starting the season 0-3: "My first year with the Dolphins we were 1-7 and then won 8 games in a row... this isn't a death sentence for us." (@MiamiDolphins) #PhinsUp
English

@OmarKelly Man please this era is about doubling down on mistakes.
English

I’ve covered so many eras, and cycles of the Dolphins franchise I swear history keeps repeating itself. Every era has a different theme. It just hit me that Mike McDaniel’s era is about loyalty. Miami rarely cuts a player, or churns the roster. They barely ever bench anyone. I don’t think the number of players demoted in 4 years reaches two hands. If it does, it barely gets there.
Unfortunately, while it’s well intended, this theme feeds into the soft persona these Dolphins have.
I really hope it pays off for McDaniel, and his players reward him for his loyalty and commitment to empowering players.
Lose to the winless Jets on Monday Night and I suspect everyone’s days are numbered because 0-4, with three losses in the division is virtually impossible to come back from. That means you have to win at least 9 of the final 13 games to produce a winning season.
English

@OmarKelly @JoeRoseShow I told yall Omar is a cup half full guy. He refuses to write or post anything negative about Tua and McDaniel. It’s obvious his employer has told him they’re off limits.
English

@OmarKelly @OLCoachSmith63 Tua gets the ball out pretty quick. Those are his words. So bad oline play is covered by that right
English

@OmarKelly Omar u went to FSU. We expect u to be bias toward the Canes.
English

@OmarKelly U make every excuse for Tua and the 0-3 dolphins but u not proud of the 3-0 Canes.

@Bentley645 Tua has more career interceptions that everyone in the 2020 draft class also.
