@AntonHur I am on ProZ, I get daily emails from several companies asking me to provide MTPE, donate my voice to AI, translate for AI training, etc. so many.

My theory is that AI translation companies are paying for media content to manufacture and mainstream the impression of AI translation being competitive with human translation (it is nowhere near competitive in terms of commercial quality) so these companies could get funding.

If there is something I am not surprised about is random white privileged literary translators thinking their experience of the industry is the default and being dismissive of criticism. Nothing new here.

Here’s some self-righteous scolding for you, sweetie. Many translators believe that Charco Press has a bias against L2 translators, or translators translating into their second language (English). This is a classic White Publishing bias, by the way. You guys should do better?
