No O-Line and no Recievers usually doesn't go good for any QB's especially Rookies. Look at how big the Jump was from Flacco from the Browns to the Bengals. Also rookies need time -> Peyton, Darnold etc...

If he sucks you'll have a top pick in the supposedly stacked 2027 QB class and can pick your franchise guy there. If you start deshaun who you wont resign anyways theres no point.
