@ThePrimeagen Doesn't it provide kind of a similar workflow to the one asked/talked about by @cmuratori in one of the standup episodes? For what I've read from it, it seems to give you that "freedom" to just keep doing work and mind about conflicts later. I might be totally wrong though xD

I’ve been working on a side project — a blog-like platform focused on photography. It’s a space where photographers can blend storytelling with their visuals.
Not sure if it will ever see the light of day, but I’ve sure learned a lot along the way.

It’s time to face a harsh truth: Europe is leaderless. Courage has left the center, as leaders retreat instead of confronting the defining political battles. This vacuum has only fueled the rise of the far-right and extreme left over the past decade. Sadly, it may take a systemic collapse before we see a true turning point in leadership.

@hasanthehun The first question should be, how does that show became the #1 podcast?
That alone says enough about people...
English

how the fuck do you even begin to combat this degree of misinformation? this is the wealthiest guy on the planet who gets billions in govt subsidies openly lying abt immigrants and the dems on the #1 podcast days before the election.

flakes is technically still beta but it’s so widely adopted at this point you’re not wasting time learning it, our boy @dreamsofcode_io sounds like he’s about to drop a video, another YouTuber called vimjoyer has a bunch of good tutorials, it depends on where you want to start, if you want to jump right into NixOS or you want to just try home manager on a different distro, or you want to just use it for some development shells to get a feel
I’m out at the moment but when I get home I’ll push my dotfiles they’re on GitHub, I found just looking through other peoples setups was pretty helpful
the official docs are good but maybe overwhelming at least they were for me, and just seeing examples of how people were using it was good for me getting started

@dreamsofcode_io @a_mulabeg Ok, disregard my previous reply, I'll eagerly wait for this 👌
English

@a_mulabeg Fortunately my series on it is coming out soon for those who need a little help!
English

@dreamsofcode_io @hyperprior Can you point out some resources to learn it properly? I've tried sometimes but I find the documentation quite confusing and then some people vouch for flakes, some say that's not stable yet, etc and I mostly find it discouraging to continue.

@hyperprior One of the best time investments I've ever made personally.
