It was a matter of time right? Happy that it was a dead channel and that I’ve changed my content strategy 2 years ago. Scared that my other channels will be affected regardless. Does anyone here have experience with this? Did u guys survive it ?

⚠️ Read This if You Use Aged Channels! So I'm sure all of you are familiar with the usual aged channels / emails websites, and in most cases they are completely fine. However, a few days ago, we realised that while logging into some channels, the 2FA code was incorrect, despite the same token working previously with no issue. So we did a bit of digging, and noticed that someone had logged into our aged channels and changed the 2FA connection for 3 batches of aged channels we had purchased from Accsmarket the year prior, all on the exact same date (March 7th). We discovered this by logging into some other accounts from the same batch that were still logged into the proxy, and those accounts were able to be recovered by changing the 2FA back. However, most other accounts from this batch had been fully logged out with no way for us to access the owner channel. Our suspicion is that the seller who sold us these batches are trying to list and sell the same aged channels AGAIN! As a result, we lost ownership of a channel doing 18K/month as well as a few smaller channels doing a few thousand a month, but the worst part is that someone else who bought these channels the second time around could have access to them RIGHT NOW, (luckily, we were still able to upload and manage them through manager access) and these channels can of course no longer be sold / brand transferred. Lesson learned. From now on, whenever a channel gets traction, always change the password + link recovery phones + change 2FA. Do not make the same mistake as us.

Yes it happens. If you watched my video on YT this is exactly how my channel was “hacked”. They stole the channel and changed Adsense so I wasn’t paid at all. Here’s what I do now: -> If you decide to start posting on a channel (not just testing), then switch the password before that. And if the channel starts getting traction, change 2fa immediately. And before applying to monetisation change 2fa again, and add more security measures (since there’s still a way from the seller to access the account by using Google support if you didn’t do ‘enough’ changes) When I myself tried to reach Google support saying that I got my acc stolen, the said that “nothing suspicious was found” and did nothing in my favor

I've been getting a lot of questions regarding how to avoid or safe guard your channel from inauthentic content from a large range of creators both faceless and nont faceless. because youtube enforcement is so incredibly vague and so many guru's are just sharing unfounded and unsupported advice at the moment i want to opensource a large scale project that attempts to figure out the patterns that trigger inauthentic content so we transparantely know what is and is not allowed on youtube. However in order to do so i need a large enough sample size of channels that have been hit with inauthentic content in order for this to work. That's why i humbly ask if we can crowd source channels that are confirmed to have been affected in this google form so i can collect enough data to actually find some of the more important signals. (note that i will NOT share any of the channels shared with us publically in this google doc ill just use them to capture the data i need to run the study) forms.gle/FWKGfWyHceqfmG…

Many people in this space should gatekeep certain topics and not publicly talk about them. Everything nice we had, ended up ruined because someone wanted clout. Call it niches, back then music deals in Shorts… Learn how to cook in silence 🙏

@youtubepriest01 Ok but that’s not really white privilege. You can also get remonetized by making enough noise without EU complaints.

How to run multiple YouTube channels without getting them ALL banned (save this): Every channel gets its OWN Gmail. 1 Gmail = 1 channel. No exceptions. Always use Brand Accounts, not personal. You need the ability to transfer ownership later. Set up an "umbrella" Gmail, one account that can access all your channels. But NEVER make it the primary owner. Mix your roles. Don't be "Manager" on every channel. Vary it, Manager on some, Viewer on others. YouTube flags one account controlling everything. Max 10 Google accounts per browser. Use separate browsers or sessions if you're scaling past that. Daily workflow: log into your umbrella account, access everything from there. Stop logging into 12 Gmails every morning. The rule is simple: If one ban can wipe out everything, your setup is broken. You're building a system, not just channels.
