the leftist position is that people’s positions, even if horrific, have roots in their material reality. the liberal position as best i can tell is that 20-30% of the country has an irredeemably evil soul. i guess im going with the one you could actually do something about.

I think it’s true that the right are better at pointing out the failures of capitalism and globalisation than the left. But the right blame it on women and migrants, not rich people in finance, while the left barely acknowledge the issues at all

I’ve been pro the GF being at the MCG forever, but I think I’ve finally changed. The team on top should get a home ground advantage - it’s too important and, therefore, too unfair, for the best team to potentially (not this year) play an away game at the opposition’s home ground
