But Mundine was at the Broncos in 1997.. when players got sign + Salary from the league they played in, plus a club contract and there was no cap in super league.

Fittler for example for 300k up front from arl plus 600k a season... then he got his Roosters contract

And it lines up with similar stories from others in 95-97

@desmoneyfr @daniel_leatham @9_Moley Listened to it about 10 times. He says he got a 100k sign on bonus. He says he got 350k from broncos plus 100k from superleague so his annual salary was 450k. At this point we are up to 550k. Then he says actually got all his superleague money in the first year.
