Your #TheAcolyte season one grade was…

@TomChansky He said he was though. You think he meant just to be released, whomever did it was of little consequence?
English

@TomChansky Because I feel like Mae has shown to be more than just a mindless killing machine. If that’s not the case then the character has been written/acted kinda poorly. I also don’t feel like Torbin would be “waiting” for her. Seems strange. 🤷♂️

@fernandojedi83 Was one of my favorite players when he played for the cardinals back in the day.
English

Was a fantastic ball player. Wish the Yankees had him in his prime.

Not enough people talk about Placido Polanco: • .297 BA, 2142 H, never K'd 50x in a year • 180 hits and just 45 K (!!) per 162 games • Highest all-time fielding % at TWO positions • 3x GG winner (again, at TWO positions) • 2007 Silver Slugger (.341 BA, 200 H, 30 K) • More hits than Mauer, Snider, Rolen, Klein • 2006 ALCS MVP (.529/.579/.588, 1.167 OPS) Somehow, Polanco received just 0.5% of the vote on his only HOF ballot appearance in 2019. An injustice!

If this is a real story I want to be their best friend.

Man who kept his boat besides his house was ordered from the city to put up a fence to hide the boat from view. So he built the fence and hired someone to paint it.

@TatooineSons Also true. The pressure to be “on the right side” of everything was exhausting. If everything is a big deal, then nothing really is.
English

@lukecruser Definitely contributed to it for me as well. I also think that being a part of the daily mess that is this fandom (and most other fandoms on social media) wears on me. It’s hard to know who’s truly good amongst everything and everyone.
English

@TatooineSons I really enjoyed the TV shows, but the direction they took The Mandalorion really switched me off. He went from a badass realizing he was in a cult and making the sacrifice to forsake it all to save a child, to a pathetic mess begging for forgiveness. It felt dishonest.
English

@TatooineSons TBH, I think it started after the incredible hype train we were on for the sequel trilogy and the closing of the Skywalker Saga (which I never really agreed with). I still enjoyed what came after, but the obsession started to dwindle. And I stopped consuming the books/comics.
English

@StarWarsSpelt I’d be a terrible guest ATM given I’ve watched nothing since Ahsoka. But I appreciate it buddy. I’d be honored to give you some lackluster Acolyte analysis when it comes out. If nothing else to talk with my buddy Josh for a bit!
English

@lukecruser welcome back.....you are always welcome to pod with me buddy...
