Stroll down Holyoke Avenue in Downtown Lakeville and you’ll spot something pretty special 🇺🇸. In celebration of America’s 250th, new “America 250” banners are now flying alongside a powerful tribute made possible through a partnership with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). Lining the avenue are commemorative American flags representing every version of our nation’s flag—each one marked by a different number of stars as our country grew. It’s a unique and meaningful display of history you won’t want to miss. The flags will be on display through Labor Day, so there’s plenty of time to experience it.

The heinous attack yesterday on an Islamic community in San Diego is part of a disturbing trend of violence towards religious people and institutions. I pray for our country and urge leaders to work together to ensure the public is safe to continue freely worshipping.
