Completed another full viewing of Andor S1 last week and I was reminded of how this speech from Luthen is one of my favorite pieces of writing in any series ever. The series would not have been as peak as it was without Stellan Skarsgård’s haunting performance. Just brilliant.

Fun Fact: Uncharted 4 turns 10 years old in May of this year, and I still don’t know why it looks this like a game made in 2026. Naughty Dog crafted a timeless Masterpiece 🍷

Dune: Part 2 turns two today. Whenever someone suggest the best of cinema is behind us, I always point to this movie. This is a reminder of what cinema is still capable of achieving. Dune 2 might be the best film released in the last six years. Cinema needed this badly.

Obi-Wan and Darth Maul’s unexpected final confrontation in this episode of Rebels is still one of my personal favorite moments in Star Wars animation. Both perfectly and poetically ended the decade-spanning feud between these two characters. I’ll never forget watching it for the first time, and even watching it years later still gives me goosebumps.
