This struck a chord with me… I agree with the sentiment, too. Music theory is fascinating and useful as a toolkit (saves me a lot of time with trial and error for key changes, for example). And well worth pursuing. But those that have shouldn’t try to gatekeep creativity.

We are looking for a set designer for ‘8 Hours There and Back’. This is a verbatim play drawn from the testimonies of children with a parent in prison. We are looking for someone based in Liverpool with experience of designing sets for studio venues and tours.
