Regular reminder that clubs cannot pull players out of international duty. Injury withdrawals are entirely at the discretion of national teams themselves, nobody else. This close to the World Cup National Teams will protect their interests, they don’t want their best players injured, a 12 week injury and you’re out of the tournament.

Amongst all the noise, I want to bring attention to the Emirates crowd. What a brilliant night they produced.
That was the core essence of support, willing the team on with the players almost riding the wave of encouragement and chanting when the pressure was truly on.

There’s nothing like a player breaking through and the crowd knowing it’s a goal. The moment of realisation, the pause, the limbs. Recents are Gabi at Chelsea + Villa, Havertz carabao semi, Gabi at Bernabeu even though he still had the keeper to beat. Tonight topped the lot 🤌🏻

@lukewebb12 @gingerdavemk Should be this week. Each round so far they seem to have published it by the Thursday afternoon (after Monday’s draw). However with only 4 ties to schedule this time hopefully it can be done abit quicker.
