@kvist_sara @technorodrigo Not only that, Ferrari chose to remove the part because they couldn’t be bothered to have the discussions with the fia before the race 😭

@wdclebbl Did you just not read the tweet properly? Clearly says the team CHOSE to remove it because they thought it wasn’t worth the long discussions with the FIA over its legality.. nobody forced them to do anything.. Oh and Merc engine isn’t illegal but won’t go into that one..

so merc can run their illegal engines for 3 months before anything is done but ferrari has to remove something that was approved during the sprint off before the main race....okay...i see....hmm....

@pitlanelando Please check your facts before spreading misinformation like this. Merc have done everything they have to do in line with the regs, providing identical hardware and software to their customer teams. The only thing they’ve been criticised on is the lack of help and data sharing..

so technically Mercedes & customer teams have to run the exact same PU specification and yet it's confirmed that neither McLaren nor Williams had the same one in Australia ...

@there_is_no_if Yeah fair points. I quite like that second idea if they were to decide to block this. I’m sure there would be some legality behind it but would make things more interesting

@lukeyber55 It's not the case of two wrongs make it right, but rather one where if you're already in a hole, don't dig it deeper. Perhaps even come up with a time sensitive charter requiring RB to sell the second team.

This may very well not be true, considering it's Telegraph. But if it is - it should be stopped by the FOM and/or the FIA. Having two RB/VCARB situations in a sport of 11 teams is ridiculous.

@here4lando Genuine question what more do you want merc to be doing? Software and hardware is identical, regulations already force Merc to provide every opportunity for the customer teams to run at the same performance levels as them.. HPP engineers on hand for each customer team..

@RBR_Daily @jucerasoli So out of curiosity, was Mercedes giving their customer teams the power units with the compression trick? Or were they keeping that for themselves and giving customer teams PUs without it??

🚨 Red Bull reportedly informed the other teams about the Mercedes compression trick, according to @jucerasoli They did this because couldn't fully replicate it, so Red Bull decided to leak the information.

@noxeuuuu @woozcar81 @pinkolive81 That’s not the full thing though. He starts off by saying his wife, who he’s been married to for 26(?) years. Then says she has a black eye, followed by ‘like I said married for 26 years’, quickly followed by a clarification that it was the dog that hit her.
