The Humanitarian Day 2023, on the Theme “No Matter What.”  In line to this, calls for us to acknowledge the dedication of Humanitarian workers worldwide, recognizing their efforts and selfless engagement to respond to the needs of affected communities and populations.

On the 25th of March, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the affected population and especially the affected children of Bokwai, Koke, Bova and WyonyaLyonga were assisted by a team of 18 persons from LUKMEF, TeenAlive and MINAS under UNICEF/ECHO CP Project. #LUKMEFRAPIDRESPONSE #UNICEF

LUKMEF Awards grants to 12 NGOs from three regions of Cameroon. In it's continuous effort to strengthen the institutional and operational capacity of CSOs towards effective localisation, LUKMEF established a small grant program supported by the Canadian Embassy #CFLI

Access to quality portable water in most communities in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon facing the ongoing crisis is a huge challenge making things worst for the already struggling populations. #LUKMEF WASH team makes assessment of the situation for action

LUKMEF partner's with the Canadian government via the Canadian Fund for Local initiative to promote localisation as a sustainable approach to local development. 70 CSOs have benefited from the LUKMEF small grants program impacting hundreds of women and youths #canadacameroon

LUKMEF CHOLERA SOS ACTION In response to the deadly Cholera outbreak in the South west region, lukmef made significant lifesaving donations to all four treatment centres. This gesture was saluted by the governor of the region who was also on mission to witness the situation.

The CSOs were armed with knowledge and skills in Organizational Structuring and Staffing, Public Relations, Logistics Management, Meal and Compliance, Resource Mobilization, Finance and Project Management gave participants an insight on how organizations truly operates.

LUKMEF in partnership with the Canadian High Commission through the Canadian Fund for local initiatives, armed CSOs in Cameroon with knowledge and skills whose application will transform their organizations and enhance growth and development potentials.
