$CELH earnings: call itself wasn’t too interesting, but here are the key takeaways: Beat on revenue ($782M vs 763M exp.) and EPS ($0.33 vs $0.29 exp.) 1 in 5 energy drinks purchased in the U.S. are from Celsius Listening to analyst questions, there seemed to be a clear focus on concerns around product innovation and shelf space. However, management pushed back on this, highlighting strong success with promotional flavors under the Alani Nu brand and pointing to opportunities in the “still / non-sparkling” category. Management also noted that the energy drink category is shifting away from being purely impulse-driven and is increasingly becoming a more habitual, everyday beverage choice among consumers which they expect to introduce new demographics of consumers. Overall I don't think my outlook has changed, the growth from Alani Nu is sustained and they clearly have the young women's segment dominated.

Tomorrow Morning $CELH will be reporting earnings. Since I wrote my article a little over a month ago , I've built up a modest position, I'm curious to see whether or not $COST Costco's new energy drink had any material impact on Celsius sales in store. Also keen to see how Alani Nu sales have performed. With a scattering of NielsenIQ data, it appears as though the energy drink segment as a whole has performed well since January. Earnings expectations for tomorrow : ~$0.29 EPS / ~765M Revenue

@CDInewsletter Truly, don’t ever bet against the Canadian banks. They’re such powerhouse investments. I remember doubling down on $TD during the AML issues; people were saying it would take a long time to recover. It bounced back within the year.

Remember in 2022-23 when everyone said higher interest rates were a TICKING TIME BOMB that were going to decimate Canadian bank stocks come mortgage renewal time? This happened instead. I still can't imagine betting against Canadian banks. Short them at your peril.
